A Bartlesville man was seen in court on Thursday afternoon on the charge of assault and/or battery with a deadly weapon. Dwayne Burson is alleged to have pulled a gun at an Engine Repair shop during an altercation.

According to an affidavit, the owner of the shop had told Burson to remove his items from a rental space at the shop, and that is when the altercation started. Burson then told police that he had been angry and pulled a pistol out and aimed it at the victim before they arrived. When police spoke with the victim, he told police that Burson also assaulted him.

Burson is currently being held over on a $25,000 bond and his next court date is set for Aug. 25th.
