Nowata 'Cops And Kids' Postponed

UPDATE: Cops And Kids in Nowata is postponed due to weather.
The Nowata Police Department announces the 4th annual Cops And Kids planned for tonight has been postponed until October due to excessive heat. Moving the event to a time when weather is expected to be cooler will make for a better time for all participants.
The event allows local kids to meet and interact with local law officers and have the chance to get an up-close look at police cars and equipment. Again, the Nowata Cops And Kids set for tonight has been postponed until October.

It's a chance for kids to meet Nowata first responders and have fun at the same time.
The Nowata Police Department together with the Nowata Sheriff's Department and Nowata Fire and EMS announces the 4th Annual Cops And Kids coming up on Monday. The event will allow kids to meet and interact with local police officers in a fun environment.
Kids will also have the chance to get an up-close look at police cars and equipment. There will be free hot dogs, inflatables, a live D-J, prize give-aways, free sno cones, and more. Cops and Kids happens Monday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Jack Gordon Park in Nowata.
