The Nowata County Commissioners opened their regular Monday meeting with the regular discussion on courthouse improvements, followed by the accepting of donations. Most notably being $1,000 from ConocoPhillips for the use of emergency management program.

Next Rachel Marrs shared the update on metal detectors for the courthouse.

The amount of the metal detectors will run at $10,539 on a grant from county ARPA funds which will be reimbursed. The Nowata County Commissioners will meet again next Monday at 9 am in the Nowata County Courthouse Annex
