At last week’s Osage County Commissioner’s meeting, it was brought to the Board’s attention that they needed to find a medical provider for the Osage County Detention Center. The Board agreed to pay Theresa Flowerette for work she had been doing, but District Three Commissioner Charlie Cartwright wanted to take a week to review a contract before hiring her full time. After having a week to look over the contract, here is what Cartwright said on Monday morning. 

The other two commissioners approved the agenda item so now it will be up to the sheriff’s office to provide proper documentation to the district attorney’s office. If approved, Flowerette will receive $4,200 a month.
