For those that might have a student enrolled at Nowata, Nowata Public Schools announced on their Facebook page that they will be sending school water battles home with bus riders so that they can have water on the buses. This is due to the extreme heat wave going on currently.

The school also requests that parents send back water bottles with the students to school so they can continue to be used during school hours.
