More Evidence Linking BTK Killer to Missing Pawhuska Woman

A newly released journal entry from the infamous Dennis Rader, otherwise known as the BTK Killer gives even more reason to believe he is connected to a Pawhuska woman that went missing in 1976. Cynthia Dawn Kinney was last seen at a Pawhuska Laundromat and hasn’t been seen since.
The entry, labeled “PJ-Bad Wash Day,” was written during a time period that Rader acknowledged being out of the Wichita area. It is believed that the abbreviation “P” is known as “Projects” he has been working on. There was also a “C-9” in the entry, which investigators believe is the ninth chapter of an unpublished book that Rader intended to give details on each murder he had committed.
Osage County Undersheriff Gary Upton goes into detail about Rader’s thought process when committing these crimes.
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office will continue providing updates on the ongoing investigation.
