The Nowata County Commissioners convened for their regular Monday meeting for the first time in the month of October and discussions were again focused on courthouse improvements. Rachel Marrs gave more updates on quotes she had received on pipe insulation in the court house.

Commissioner Paul Crupper also said that the panic buttons should be in later this month or early November. They next announced multiple full time deputy hirings.

The Commissioners will meet again next Monday at 9 am at the Nowata County Courthouse Annex.
