The Caney Valley Trojans are coming off a much-needed bye week after dropping their first five games of the season. The Trojans have struggled this season and are coming off a most recent loss to Nowata, 44-8. As mentioned, the bye week came at a good time for the Trojans as they were also in the middle of a three-game road trip.

The Trojans now have a matchup this Friday with an inexperienced Vinita team that sits at 2-3 with big wins over Dewey and Nowata. The Hornets have a tough run and pass balance offense that will be a lot for the Trojans to handle.
