Next week offers the chance for kids in Nowata to meet local members of law enforcement.

Monday is the fourth annual Nowata Cops & Kids. The event offers kids the chance to interact with officers on a personal level in a fun environment. Kids can meet members of the Nowata Police Department, Nowata County Sheriff's Department, and Nowata Fire/EMS. They will also get tours of police vehicles and equipment.

There will be free hot dogs and snow cones for all who attend plus inflatables, music and drawings for prizes. Cops & Kids happens Monday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Jack Gordon Park.
