Appearing on CITY MATTERS on Monday on KWON, assistant city manager Tracy Roles, City Clerk Jason Muninger and City Engineer Michah Siemers brought us up to date with issues involving the city and its residents.
Tracy Roles reminded listeners that we remain in Stage 2 of the Water Shortage Ordinance which means limitations on usage. He then urged citizens to attend the upcoming Homelessnes Forum on November 2nd at the Center put on by the Bartlesville Police Department. He also urged citizens to educate themselves in Tuedsay's G.O. Bond election.
To explain the G.O. Bond, city engineer Michah Siermers listed the 4 questions on the ballot and explained in detail where the money raised will go inlcuding $12.2 million for street improvements
City Clerk Jason Muninger announced that the city sales tax collection was down by 1.9% from last year, but still well above the average collection numbers historically.
