At Tuesday evening's city council meeting in Pawhuska, Chamber of Commerce Director Mike McCartney spoke on a wide array of topics. Things ranging from the sucess of the National Indian Taco Championship to the Gathering at the Roc, both of which took place this past weekend. 

The thing McCartney spoke most highly of, however was the grand opening of the Osage Casino and Hotel in Pawhuska, though.

McCartney added that the National Indian Taco Championship had great attendance and while it is difficult to judge if it was a record-number of vendors on hand, he said there were several.
