An unsettled weather pattern will continue to impact northeast Oklahoma and southeast Kansas over the next several days.

According to the National Weather Service in Tulsa, widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected through Tuesday night, mainly across eastern Oklahoma. Locally heavy rainfall amounts will be possible, especially across parts of northeast Oklahoma west of Highway 75.

This weather pattern will remain in place through the weekend with multiple rounds of showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Another round of locally heavy rainfall is expected Wednesday night into early Thursday. Another storm system late Friday through early Monday will bring additional rain and thunder chances as well as breezy conditions.

At this time, the National Weather Service says it appears the rain will be spread out enough to limit the flood potential. Much colder air will filter into the area from the north later this weekend into early next week.
