The Nowata County Commissioners met for their last regular Monday meeting for the month of October in what was a fairly short meeting that covered the same usual topics. As always, the Commissioners started with an update on the courthouse, specifically on the air conditioning insulation. 

There was one important announcement that was made later in the meeting from Nowata County Clerk Kay Spurgeon regarding the 2023-24 county budget. 

The Commissioners also approved two REAP grant applications regarding rural water districts 2, 6, and 7 and for the Wann Fire Dept.

The Nowata County Commissioners will meet again next Monday at the Nowata County Courthouse Annex at 9 am and the meeting is open to the public.
