The Bartlesville Police Department will provide a food basket to 25 local families for the Christmas holiday.
Police Chief Kevin Ickleberry said the department has already identified the list of families in need and is now collecting donations of food items which will be delivered to each family before the holidays. “We want the community to know that we care about everybody,” Ickleberry said.
Through Dec. 19, the following items are being collected: 10-pound bags of potatoes, rolls and pies. Boxes can be found at the police department and City Hall (2nd floor).
