It is another Monday, which means it is time for another Patriot Family of Autos Area Athlete of the week – powered by Tri County Tech. This week, we turn to Nowata for golf and basketball star, Spencer Bullen.

Bullen is a multi-year starter for Ironmen basketball and has been a threat to be reckoned with on the golf course as well. For Bullen, he came so close to winning state back in 2023, as he just finished as runner up. Bullen says that second place finish is fueling him for this year. 

On the basketball side of things, Bullen had an outstanding junior year averaging over 10 ppg and being a main cog in a district and conference title winning team. Senior year was a different story for Bullen, who suffered a tough ankle injury less than 10 games into the final season.

Bullen talks about having to deal with that reality of not being able to play this year. 

Now, with graduation just less than a month away, the next step in life is coming up quickly for Bullen and the rest of his senior class. He details what is in store after graduation.
