The Bartlesville Bruin boy’s golf team will head to its Frontier Valley Conference meet on Tuesday morning.

It is a tune-up for a young group of Bruins before Regionals next week.

First year head coach Carl Holmes says some younger guys are leading the way during their first varsity seasons this spring, such as freshman Jay Wasemiller.

Holmes says he expects a few individuals to have a good shot at qualifying for state when Regionals roll around. Making state as a team also is not out of the question if the Bruins have a good week.

Holmes talks about what he wants to see out of his guys during the last two regular season weeks of the year.

Bruins tee off at 8:00 on Tuesday morning from Indian Hills Country Club in Tulsa.
