Lowe Sentenced in 2024 Crash That Killed Teen

A Barnsdall man who accepted a plea deal after killing a 15-year old and sending his 16-year old daughter to the hospital was sentenced on Thursday. Weston Lowe was the driver of a car that wrecked near Barnsdall.
Lowe pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter, child endangerment DUI and leaving the scene of a fatality accident. At Thursday's disposition, Lowe was sentenced to 34 years in the Department of Corrections. Because the three charges will run concurrently, Lowe will serve 20 years.
