Though the Washington County Board of Commissioners agenda was a bit on the light side Monday morning, a couple of important items were discussed. Pending legislation to create the Oklahoma 9-1-1 Management Authority, which would create funding for ALL counties in the state, was lauded by the Commissioners.

Bidding was open for a Custom Cascade Trailer for Washington County Emergency Management at 10 A.M. One bid with several options was received from Safe Air Systems. The Commissioners agreed to wait until Director Kary Cox runs the numbers on the options. Cox made it known that several communities in Washington County are in sore need of firefighters volunteers.
