One of the oldest Rotary Clubs in the State, Bartlesville Rotary is celebrating it's Centennial this year. A fundraising campaign to improve and expand the popular train display at the Bartlesville depot has about two more weeks to run. A membership drive among the members has raised more than $25-thousand. Money raised will be used to add a century old tank car, new benches and display panels, renovations to the caboose and a video kiosk.

Contributors to the public fundraising campaign will be acknowledged with an engraved paving brick placed in a special section of the brick sidewalk in front of Locomotive No. 940. A series of community events are planned in connection with the celebration with an unveiling of the brick recognition area sometime in May.
