The Bartlesville Public School District has been named the first ever "Model District" by the Great Expectations non-profit organization.
This recognizes that BPSD has a culture of mutual respect and academic excellence. For the last three years every school in the district has been named a "Model School".
"To become a "Model School" is very difficult for most schools, so being named a "Model District" is a testament to the wonderful work Bartlesville is accomplishing," said Linda Dzialo, Ph.D, president and CEO of Great Expectations.
To be selected, 90 percent of teachers should implement all classroom practices daily and the school must serve as a standard for excellence that other administrators and educators can learn from. For more information, visit greatexpectations.org
