The concept of “Lean Urbanism” could be part of Bartlesville soon. The city could become just one part of the pilot program, “The Project for Lean Urbanism.” Eric Jaekel, President of the Washington County Affordable Housing Coalition spoke before the Washington County Board of Commissioners during Monday's Special Meeting. Jaekel said “The Project” works to restore common sense to all facets of the property development process.

Jaekel asked the Commissioners for a commitment letter in the amount of $30,000. If Bartlesville is chosen, “Lean Urbanism” would create a custom redevelopment package. The Board asked Jaekel for more information and agreed to put on the agenda at a later date.
