This week the Osage County Board of County Commissioners decided to approve Mike Cole and Cole's Lawn Service for the cleanup of newly acquired County properties. The newly acquired properties will have trash and debris removed, and receive lawn maintenance. The lots will not be available for resale or demolition until June 2016.

Representatives from Cintas and Unifirst uniform rental services returned this week awaiting the commissioner's decision, however, Scott Hilton requested additional week so they could show the employees the different uniform options and get feedback.

The commissioners also set a Public Hearing date of August 31 to approve or deny the Black Dog Fire District's request for territory increase. The requested comes following the dissolution of the Osage Hills Volunteer Fire Department. Black Dog Fire Department is now covering a portion of the former Osage Hills district.

The Osage County Board of County Commissioners meet each week on Monday at 10 am at the Osage County Courthouse in Pawhuska.
