Some Bartlesville fourth grade basketball players are making waves statewide, as the Bruins have made the championship basketball game for their age group this Saturday.

A group of eight Bartlesville fourth graders have made the title round for the Indian Nations Basketball Conference against Sapulpa-Glenpool.

Dan Johnson helps coach the group and talks about the successful bunch.

Andy Thurman and Justin Waller also coach the team consisting of Max Johnson, Carter Waller, Easton Thurman, Drake Gilkey, Cayman Mayhew, Josh Wier, Kyrin McCorvey and Trace Richey.

Bartlesville went 7-1 in the league, which led to the Bruins getting a first-round bye. Johnson talks about their playoff positioning.

A big win over Owasso, 27-24, on Monday night in the semifinals propelled Bartlesville to the championship round.

Johnson talks about the victory.

Bartlesville will face Sapulpa-Glenpool on Saturday at noon at the Broken Arrow Community Center. It is Championship Saturday for the INBC.

Good luck to the fourth grade Bruins!
