Bartlesville High baseball came close to a District sweep on Tuesday evening in Oklahoma City but fell short.

Moore topped BHS 2-1 after the Bruins won the first game on Monday by a single run, as well.

Moore scored single runs in the fifth and sixth innings after Bartlesville had gotten a one-run lead in the first.

Senior Brenden Asher was great in his first start of the season on the mound. Asher went five innings, gave up five hits, two runs, one earned. He had 12 strikeouts and five walks.

BHS got two hits from Brett Eaves, and a single hit from Asher and Mason Dryden.

Bartlesville is 2-2 and next goes to Tulsa NOAH for its second matchup of that series on Thursday evening.
