Bedlam Baseball Starts Thursday
Perhaps the last three-game conference series in Bedlam baseball history will kick off on Friday evening in Norman, as Oklahoma State visits Oklahoma for the Big 12 finale’s for both clubs over the next three days.
Game one starts at 6:30 on Thursday night.
The series is big for both teams for different reasons. Oklahoma State is right on the edge of hosing a regional. A good series against the Sooners and a good Big 12 Tournament could mean the Pokes hosting the postseason event in Stillwater.
Oklahoma State is also alive for a Big 12 regular season championship. Cowboys enter today two games back of first place West Virginia alone in second place in the standings.
Meanwhile OU is very much on the NCAA Tournament bubble. Sooners will need a good finish to feel solid about their making the event. Oklahoma had a great finish in 2022 that spurred the Sooners to the College World Series finals out of nowhere.
OK-State won the non-conference Bedlam game in Stillwater, 19-8 in mid-April.
