BHS Baseball Drops Non-District Matchup with Coweta

Let's talk a look at how Bartlesville High Athletics faired on Friday night. We'll start with Bruin baseball as BHS was looking to turn the one win on Thursday into two-straight wins last night. Unfortunately, Bartlesville would run into a buzz saw in the 5A Coweta Tigers as they fell 8-3.

The first inning was the highest scoring of the day as the Tigers led the Bruins 4-3 after the first frame, but the Bruins would not be able to plate anymore runs to match Coweta's four added runs after that. Brett Eaves and Jackson Zaun combined for all four rbi's for BHS last night.

Rare one inning outing for Brendan Asher who got the start last night, going just one full inning after giving up four earned runs in the first inning. Bartlesville now falls to 9-13 on the year and will be back in action on Monday at home against Norman North.
