Big 12 Softball Day 2
Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Tournament kicked off on Thursday afternoon, two games in the books, with the other getting postponed until Friday due to weather.
Iowa State beat Baylor, 4-1. Texas topped Texas Tech in extra innings, 7-6.
Oklahoma State will need a rain-delay comeback to advance to day two of the event.
Kansas leads the Cowgirls 3-1 in the top of the fourth inning. The game will finish up this morning at 10:00 after weather disrupted the end of the contest on Thursday night.
OU faces Iowa State at 1:00 on Friday. Texas will take on the winner of OK-State and Kansas at 4:00.
Winners meet in Saturday afternoon’s championship round from ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.
