Boy's Tennis Gets Doubles Team Placed
Bartlesville High boy's tennis wrapped up its season at 6A State over the weekend.
Bartlesville High had one doubles team place. At No. 1 doubles Will Bolding and Owen May finished eighth.
The other three athletes who qualified failed to place, but BHS still got five of its six regular varsity players some state experience.
Bartlesville had only one senior. Jack Auschwitz at No. 1 singles finished out his final year as a Bruin with a 19-9 record. Mark Shaw, Cade Winter and Bash White along with Bolding and May will all return for next season.
Most impressively, Bartlesville boy’s tennis was named Academic State Champions on Saturday, as the Bruins had a perfect 4.0 GPA.
