Bring Spring Sports Rev Up

Speaking of Bartlesville spring sports, it is a pretty busy day on Friday for BHS.

Bartlesville slow pitch softball is up to No. 8 in the state of Oklahoma and got a couple more big wins yesterday. Lady Bruins beat Claremore 11-2 then Union 11-8. BHS got a game-winning three-run homer to win game two.

BHS continues play in the BA-Union Festival today.

Other spring sports… Bartlesville High soccer is back at home for a District double-header against Sand Springs. BHS girls are 0-2 while the Bruin guys are 1-1 in District play after both losing at Union earlier this week. Both teams continue to work with their first-year head coaches.

Bruin boy’s senior leader Jonathan Pectol says new skipper Cedric Muteshi has done a great job thus far.

A 6:00 kick for the girls with the guys at 8:00 from Custer Stadium against the Sandites on Friday night.

Elsewhere for BHS spring sports, Bartlesville track and field heads to Ponca City for a meet. Bruin tennis is on the road at Yukon for a tournament. Girls will head to Yukon on Saturday.
