Bruin Baseball Drops Owasso Game One

Bartlesville High baseball had a tough game one of its two-game District set with Owasso.

It was a slow burn, but Owasso pulled away for a 9-0 win on Tuesday night at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.

The Rams scored in every inning but one. Owasso scored two runs in the first, second and fourth, with single runs in the third, sixth and seventh. The Rams had 14 base hits, 13 of them were singles.

The Bruin pitchers of Hunter Shea, Grant Clark and Sam Marcella all had their moments, but none could consistently keep the Rams off the basepaths.

The Bartlesville defense also performed well. BHS threw two Owasso baserunners out on the day.

This grab in foul ground from Kaden Romesburg was another highlight.

Tough schedule continues for BHS, as Bartlesville travels to Owasso on Wednesday.

A 5:00 first pitch in a makeup game from Monday. We will have it for you in its entirety on KWONTV.com.

Radio coverage will be joined about 5:40 on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
