Bruin Baseball Gets All-Staters
Good news for a couple Bartlesville High baseball players, as the Bruins great 2023 season has resulted in a few individual honors over the past couple of days.
Brenden Asher and Brett Eaves were both selected to play in the Oklahoma State Games representing BHS.
Asher was the Bruin’s No. 1 starter and batted cleanup most of the season. Eaves locked down second base and was a force in the middle of the lineup.
The Oklahoma State Games take place on June 20-21 in Enid.
Meanwhile senior Luke Fox was selected by the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association as an all-stater to the Large East team.
Fox had an outstanding career, capped by a season where he hit over .450 for almost the entirety of the year. Fox also patrolled center field for BHS and was one of Cody Price’s best options out of the bullpen.
The OBCA All-State game is on June 4 in Enid.
