Bruin Classic Track and Field Meet on Thursday

One of the biggest athletic events hosted by Bartlesville High will start on Thursday morning at Custer Stadium.

It is the hopefully now-annual Bruin Classic Track and Field Meet. More than 1,000 athletes competed in the meet a year ago.

This was a new possibility after the renovations to the track that passed with one of the more recent bond issues.

BHS Athletic and Activities Director Thad Dilbeck talks about the meet. 

The meet officially kicks off at 10:00 in the morning, so don’t be surprised if you see buses or high schoolers in gas stations and restaurants around town on Thursday.
