Bruin Soccer Falls In Heartbreaker
Bartlesville High boys’ soccer looked like it might have a chance to move on to the next round of the 6A playoffs on Monday night, but Yukon ended up pulling out an improbable win.
The Millers topped the Bruins 3-2 to end Bartlesville’s season.
Unfortunately, it was another heartbreaker for BHS, as Bartlesville had a 2-0 lead into the final 20 minutes, but the Millers scored three unanswered goals to grab the win. Two of those goals game in the final 6:08 of the contest.
Third straight year that Bartlesville soccer has lost by one goal in the first round of the playoffs.
