Bartlesville High soccer has found out its postseason assignment.

The Bruins will head to the Western side of the state to take on Yukon in the first round of the 6A Soccer Tournament.

BHS had an up and down season.

The Bruins struggled during the non-District portion of its schedule but started to surge when the games counted going toward the playoff position. Bartlesville went 4-3 in 6A-District 4 and tied for second place.

One of the reasons for the Bruins up-and-down play this spring - Injuries. BHS had to battle through multiple stretches where multiple starters were missing time.

During Bartlesville’s big win over Bixby last week, it was the healthiest the Bruins had been since early this year.

Head coach Cedric Muteshi on injuries to his team.

Yukon finished at second in 6A-District 3. The Millers are 11-4 overall and finished at 6-1 in District play.

It will be a 7:00 kick on Monday night from west of OKC. More on this contest coming up later this week.
