Bruins Get Big Soccer Win to Advance to Playoffs
The Bartlesville Bruin soccer team got a big win at Bixby last night. That 3-2 win in penalty kicks assured Bartlesville a second place district finish and a spot in the Class 6A playoffs.
Ian Belong and Braxton Decker scored in regular time and in penalty kicks four Bruins came up big to secure the win. It was Belong and Decker that netted goals, along with Reyli Almanza and Aldo Ortiz who scored goals.
Here is what Coach Cedric Muteshi had to say on the importance of getting that road win at Bixby.
The Lady Bruins fell to Bixby on Friday, 4-0.
