Bruins Host Choctaw in Finale

Bartlesville High football will look to end the season on a high note on Friday night.

The Bruins host a 7-2 Choctaw club at Custer Stadium. Choctaw is in line for the 2ND spot in the east side of 6A-II.

Despite Bartlesville's 2-7 record there is no doubt that BHS has been better toward the back half of the season. A win over Putnam City West and a close game against Ponca City has put the offense on more solid footing.

A game against another district contender should provide the Bruins with a good measuring stick tonight. Bartlesville head coach Jason Sport.

Bartlesville will go with the freshman at quarterback again, Nate Neal gets his first career start. Neal was the third string heading into the season, but injuries have put him in line to start the final game of the year. He passed for 200 yards in 2.5 quarters last week.

Sport talks about what Neal needs to do to be successful on Friday.

Senior night vs. Choctaw from Custer Stadium. A 7:00 kick and a 6:30 pregame Friday evening on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1 – you can also watch a livestream on KWONTV.com.
