At Bartlesville High, the Bruin gridders battled in the second half, but fell to Choctaw 55-21.

The Yellow Jackets scored all 55 of their points in the first half. Choctaw applied its will on offense early and often. Quarterback Steele Wasel tossed for seven touchdowns and took the doubt out of the contest early.

After falling behind, BHS did some more work on offense. Austin Zink continued his final five-game tear. He went over 100-yards on this touchdown in the second quarter.

An awesome moment in the second half was a Bruin score by senior James “JD” Droz, who has been a part of the Bartlesville football family each of the past four years.

He got a chance to score on senior night, and darted toward the endzone.

The freshman Nate Neal at quarterback threw for another touchdown to Gage Keaton.

Bartlesville ends 2021 at 2-8.
