Bullpups Have Lofty Goals in 2019-2020
Basketball season is ramping up north of the border as Caney Valley plays its second game of the season on Tuesday. The Bullpups fell in their opener to Independence last week, 61-51. Caney Valley is looking to achieve quite a bit this season with four of its five starters returning after a trip to the sub-state semifinals last season. Second year Bullpups head coach Jim Deaton is confident that the team will go further this year.
The Bullpups will continue its non-league schedule on Tuesday as they begin a tournament against Chanute.
