The Dewey Bulldoggers return to action this Friday after 21 days without a game. Dewey will host Rejoice Christian in a game that is critical in the district standings. When the OSSAA announced that all team qualify for the playoffs it gave districts an option to declare seeding through rankings. However, 2A-8 decided to determine seeding for playoffs based on total district wins.

Dewey will embark on a stretch of 15 days with five games to make up for lost games due to COVID-19. Doggers head coach Trent Turner talks about what he considers to be a historic stretch.

Dewey is currently 2-3 overall and 0-2 in district. Although the Doggers have cleared out the two toughest teams in the district with Adair and Sperry already behind them. Dewey has a chance to play itself into a home playoff game in five contests that should be competitive.

After the Rejoice game on Friday the Doggers will have a short break before playing Claremore-Sequoyah on Tuesday, October 27. Both games can be heard on KRIG 104.9 FM.
