Drummond Shines, Pawhuska Throttles Perry in Opener

Pawhuska flexed its muscle in the season opener with a 64-7 win over Perry on Friday night. Bryce Drummond had a big night with over 300 passing yards and four touchdown passes in the first half. Pawhuska scored 50 by the break and put the game out of reach in the early goings. Drummond would connect with Gilkey on this long touchdown.

Drummond added several more on the night as he hooked with Cody Starr a few different times in the endzone. Younger brother Todd Drummond would also notch his first touchdown of the season in relief.

Pawhuska has big challenge next weekend with Victory Christian coming to town for a non-district contest.
