Indians Hold Tryouts - Familiar Names Returning

The Doenges Ford Indians held their tryouts for year No. 82 of the program in Bartlesville on Saturday morning.

The roster has not yet been announced, but there should be plenty of talent and familiar names on the roster again this year.

Guys like Harrison Clark, Nik Johnson, Luke Fox, Matthew Winters and Brenden Asher will headline the Tribe.

John Pannell is back again running the program. After 14 years of coaching, other years running the Winget and his playing career, Pannell has been involved with the program for nearly 30 years.

He talks about makes the Indians special.

Bartlesville will play its regular season games in the Oklahoma City D-Bat league with home games weekly. The Indians will also play road games in the OKC and Tulsa area.

The Tribe will make their annual trip to Fort Smith and Mountain Home, Arkansas during June, as well. 

Indians went 24-14-1 a season ago. The official schedule and roster for the team should come out this week.

The Indian’s first game will likely be a week from this Friday.
