Johnson Picks ORU Basketball Coach

Oral Robert’s only took a few hours to name its new men’s basketball coach. ORU has tapped Paul Mill’s assistant, Russell Springmann, as its next head man.

Springmann was vital in the recruitment of Max Abmas to ORU and has been a longtime assistant at different spots across the country.

Mills left for Wichita State on Tuesday evening and will be officially introduced in a press conference on Thursday.

ORU Athletic Director and Bartlesville Native Tim Johnson says Golden Eagle basketball will continue what Mills started.
