Lady Bruin Soccer Surging in Final Weeks

Bartlesville High soccer is back in action on Friday, as the Lady Bruins and Bruins are both coming off victories over Muskogee earlier this week.

The Lady Bruins (9-3, 3-1) picked up a 2-0 win, while the Bruin guys (4-5, 2-2) topped the Roughers 4-0. Both teams now set their eyes on Broken Arrow, as the Tigers visit Custer Stadium on Friday evening for a double-header.

The Bartlesville girls have been surging. BHS finds itself in the cusp of the postseason with three district games left. The Lady Bruins have won three in a row and four of their last five. Head coach Aaron Kuntz talks about his team’ streak.

The Lady Bruins have the toughest portion of their schedule ahead of them. All three contests left for district contests, at Stillwater, Jenks at home and Friday's match hosting Broken Arrow, are against teams ahead of them in the district standings.

Broken Arrow represents maybe the toughest test of them all. The Lady Tigers have lost just one match all season.

The double-header begins at 6:00 on Friday at Custer Stadium.
