NCAA Softball Tournament Begins
Friday is day one of the NCAA Softball Tournament, as both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will host Regionals beginning in the afternoon.
The Sooners are by-far the odds-on favorite to win the National Championship. OU has won 43-straight games and is the No. 1 overall seed in the event.
Oklahoma face Hofstra at 4:00. The game opposite the Sooners between Cal and Mizzou will start at 6:30 in Norman.
Meanwhile in Stillwater Oklahoma State limped into the NCAA Tournament. The Cowgirls have lost 11 of their last 13. OK-State will take on 4-seed UMBC at 3:00 this afternoon. The game opposite the Cowgirls between Wichita State and Nebraska starts at 6:00.
Both are four-team double-elimination tournaments.
