Bartlesville High has a new wrestling coach, as the Bruins have filled one of their two winter sports vacancies.

Bartlesville Public Schools announced Bryan Vashus as the new Head Wrestling Coach on Monday afternoon.

Vashus joins the Bruins from Parachute, Colorado where he is currently the Head Wrestling Coach at Grand Valley High School and teaches 6th grade science at Grand Valley Middle School.

He replaces Josh Pulsifer who resigned his post toward the end of the wrestling season over the winter.

The hiring of the wrestling coach means that only the boys’ basketball job is still vacant as far as varsity head coaching jobs go at Bartlesville High.
