OKWU Baseball Looking to End Season on High Note

OKWU baseball has just one game left in the regular season after the Eagles first two games of the series against Ottawa were moved up to Wednesday this week. Wesleyan grabbed a two-game split with an 11-3 win and a 6-5 walk off loss to the Braves.

The Eagles are coming off the wrong end of a series sweep last weekend and are currently at a 1-1 split with Ottawa before game three of the series is played on Saturday. OKWU is dealing with the tough task of playing two top four conference teams in back-to-back series to end the regular season.

Head Coach Kirk Kelly talks about having to deal with this tough stretch before the conference tournament in May.

Game three of the series, and the final OKWU game of the regular season, will be at noon on Saturday at Ottawa College in Kansas.
