OKWU Baseball is getting set for one of, if not the biggest series of the season this weekend. The Eagles head to Salina to battle the Kansas Wesleyan Coyote’s in a three-game conference battle. Oklahoma Wesleyan is coming off a series win over McPherson this last weekend where they took two games out of three from the Bulldogs.

Eagle Head Coach Kirk Kelly talked about the last weekend series with McPherson.

OKWU, 30-13, now gets the 35-8 Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes. The Eagles are second in the KCAC record wise with a 25-5 record, while the ‘Yotes are 26-4 in conference play. This weekend series will more than likely decide who will be crowned the regular season KCAC champ.

Kelly talks about that possibility and the upcoming matchup.

OKWU and KWU will battle in the first two games of the series on Saturday with game one at 2, and game two to follow at 5 pm. Game three will be played on Sunday at 1 pm, all in Salina, KS.
