Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball jumped into the KCAC conference tournament on Thursday looking for a fresh start in the postseason after a tough end to the regular season. The Eagles met up with a Friends team they swept earlier in the season and continued their dominance to move to 4-0 against the Falcons this year with a 10-2 thrashing in the first round of the conference tournament.

OKWU jumped out to an early 1-0 lead and never looked back as they would score runs in seven of nine total innings. Evan Foor had a great outing for OKWU going a full eight innings pitched with five strikeouts to just one walk.

From the batter’s box, Ravaughn Morgan, Jorge Aldrete, and Josue Vasquez all led the team with two rbi’s a-piece. The Eagles now get the two-seeded Tabor Blue Jays in the second round in Great Bend, Kansas on Friday at noon.

We will have more on Wesleyan in the KCAC tournament over the weekend.
