OKWU Baseball Swept in Salina
Tough weekend for Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball, as the Eagles were swept in a three-game series in Salina, Kansas against Kansas Wesleyan over the weekend.
The three wins for the Coyotes has put them in the driver’s seat for the KCAC regular season title, while dropping Wesleyan out of contention.
OKWU fell 6-3 and 3-1 in a double-header on Saturday. OKWU then lost in a single game on Sunday, 3-0.
Wesleyan has another important conference series at Ottawa this weekend, which will wrap up KCAC and regular season action for the Eagles.
Oklahoma Wesleyan is now in third in the conference at 25-8 and 30-16 overall.
