OKWU Soccer to Host NAIA Regional
The Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s soccer team received some good news earlier this week, as the Eagles found out they will be one of the 10 first-round hosts for the NAIA National Men’s Soccer Championship.
OKWU will host the Regional with three other schools in Bartlesville vying for a spot in the Final 10 in Columbia County, Georgia.
The last few spots for the national tournament, and the dates of when the Bartlesville Regional begins, will be determined over the weekend – The first day the first-round can start will be on Thursday, April 22, with the Final 10 beginning on May 4.
The Eagles are 16-2 on the year and have won three matches in a row heading into the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament finals, which is on Friday night.
The Eagles will face McPherson in the championship round in Wichita, Kansas.
